Candle care
A clean burn is mostly a short list of habits.
- Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every light.
- Let the first burn melt a full pool to the glass, so the candle doesn’t tunnel.
- Keep each burn to about four hours.
- Set the jar on something steady, away from drafts, curtains, children and pets.
- Never leave a flame unattended. Stop when 1/4 inch of wax remains.
